The advance ticket booking for Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo has been witnessing a spike ever since its trailer was released a couple of days ago. The ticket reservation began in GCC, the US, Canada and the UK much earlier and it looks like the movie is set for a gargantuan opening in overseas markets.

It is heard that exhibitors in Tamil Nadu will begin booking from October 14. All eyes are now on the first-day collection of the film in Tamil Nadu. Fans are waiting to know if the action drama will create new records at the box office.

A whopping 50,000 tickets of Leo sold in THIS country

The distributor of Leo in the UK has now announced that 50,000 tickets have been sold in the country. The booking began in the country much earlier, leaving fans elated. The movie has already created a record there in terms of opening for any Tamil film.

There were reports that Leo's advance booking was the biggest for any Indian film. However, Ahimsa Entertainment, which bagged the theatrical rights of the project, has informed that it is yet to surpass Pathaan's record.

A video featuring Vijay is to be out soon

The makers revealed recently that a surprise is awaiting fans. Though the latter were disappointed with the cancellation of the movie's audio launch, they were hoping for some other event to happen.

It is now heard that the team is planning to unveil a video featuring Vijay's speech for a few minutes. However, it isn't confirmed as to when and where the video will be released. A pre-release event is expected to happen in Dubai in one of the coming days.
