A still from Leo

The most-awaited Tamil film of the year, Leo, has been released worldwide today and it has been garnering mixed responses among critics and cinephiles. However, the movie has taken a huge opening in almost all territories and many box office records have been rewritten.

Film enthusiasts have been taking to social media to discuss their favourite sequences and characters from Leo. They have been talking about what they disliked, too, in the action-packed drama that features a bevy of talented actors. Here are five scenes from the movie that left the audience thrilled.

Hyena Sequence

One of the most-hyped portions of the film even before its release was the scene that involved a hyena. The makers spent a bomb on executing the sequence that stood out, thanks to the efforts that went into its making. The intriguing sequence left the audience elated.

Action In A Coffee Shop

The well-choreographed fight scene in a coffee shop speaks volumes of stunt choreographer duo Anbariv's talent and Lokesh's execution. Vijay's flawless moves and Manoj Paramahamsa's visuals complement the riveting sequence.

Napolean's Entry

The USP of Leo was the suspense associated with the movie being part of Lokesh's cinematic universe. The unexpected entry of George Maryan's Napolean character from Kaithi brought the house down. This was the most-celebrated sequence from the film.

Leo and Harold's Face-Off

The conversations and fights between Vijay's Leo Das and Arjun's Harold Das in the climax portion are quite engaging. The two actors put their best foot forward, leaving the audience overwhelmed.

The film ends with Kamal Haasan's Vikram from Lokesh's previous outing making a call to Leo and extending support to him in establishing a drug-free society. The unexpected voice from the Ulaganayagan hints at the two actors coming together for another LCU film.
