Sardar (Aha)
Sardar revolves around a spy in exile, who is branded as a traitor. When a ruthless businessman makes a diabolical plan that threatens the security of the entire nation, the spy in exile receives a code to resume a mission abandoned three decades ago. The film, directed by PS Mithran, has Karthi in dual roles, with one as a spy and the other as a police officer. Sardar, directed by PS Mithran also has Chunky Panday and Laila as part of the star cast.

Sinam (Netflix)
GNR Kumaravelan's Sinam has Arun Vijay playing the no-nonsense police officer Paari Venkat. He is a doting husband and father, but things go awry after his wife Madhu (Pallak Lalwani) is sexually assaulted and killed. Paari then goes on a revenge-seeking spree and tries to seek justice for his wife.
Ponniyin Selvan (Amazon Prime)
Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan, an adaptation of Kalki's epic novel of the same name, delves into the battle for the Chola throne after the reigning king Sundara Cholar falls ill. The film has an ensemble cast with Vikram as Aditha Karikalan, Trisha as Kundavai, Jayam Ravi as Arulmozhi Varman, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Nandini and Karthi as Vallavarayian Vanthiyathevan.
Iravin Nizhal (Amazon Prime)
Parthiban's ambitious project, which is billed as the first single-shot movie made in a non-linear format, dropped on OTT unannounced. The plot revolves around Nandhu, a mysterious person who battles his internal guilt and leads a sad life. His life is filled with crime and is constantly on the run.
Naane Varuven (Amazon Prime)
The plot of Selvaraghavan's thriller revolves around two brothers- Prabhu and Kathir, who get separated during their childhood. Kathir develops killer instincts and when he meets his brother after many years, things have only exacerbated.
