Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one the top stars in the country and has seen superb stardom in the last two years. But at the same time, she has suffered a lot personally as well. Be it her divorce from Chay Akkineni or her issues with Myostis disorder, Sam has gone through a lot in her life but she is fighting hard.
Due to her illness, her latest film, Kushi was in the making for the longest time and finally released on September 1, 2023, and was a decent hit at the box office. Samantha is a strict Brahmin girl who falls in love with a boy who belongs to an atheist family. Shiva Nirvana directed this film which is now streaming on Netflix.

Well, since Kushi's release, Samantha has not signed a single film to date. She has taken a break from films and is getting a much-needed rest. Samantha has been traveling a lot in the last three months and is getting back to work.
Well, one of the sources close to her says that Sam has decided to get back to work and will be signing new films soon. He also adds that Sam will start listening to scripts from the month of January 2024.
Next in line for Samantha is the Hindi web series Citadel which has Raj and DK as the director. The Hindi version is done with its shoot and will be out soon. Samantha will be once again seen in an action avatar in this show after The Family Man 2 which was a roaring hit on OTT.
