Theatrical releases of a few films are scheduled for this week (October 14 to October 20). There's also the much-awaited OTT premiere of two Malayalam web series. Below is a list of the films that are available to watch this week, both online and in theatres.

1000 Babies - Disney+ Hotstar (October 18)

With the Najeem Koya-directed series, Rahman is ready to make his OTT debut. After a 32-year hiatus, Neena Gupta is returning to the Malayalam film with 1000 Babies. The teaser suggests that Malayalam OTT viewers may expect an unparalleled, edge-of-your-seat thriller experience with this web series.

Soul Stories - Manorama Max (October 18)

Each episode of Sanil Kalathil's online series according to the teaser, delves into fascinating subjects related to women and the varied expectations patriarchal society has of them. Anarkali Marikar, Renji Panicker, RJ Karthik, Wafa Khatheeja, Asha Madathil, and Gopika Manjusha are among the cast members of the four-episode web series.

Bougainvillea - Theatrical (October 17)

Bougainvillea's trailer gives the impression that renowned director Amal Neerad is gearing up for another thrilling blockbuster. It appears to be a compelling psychological suspense thriller that will definitely keep viewers on the tip of their seats. Jyothirmayi, Kunchacko Boban, and Fahadh Faasil play important roles in the much-awaited movie.

Porattu Nadakam - Theatrical (October 18)

The film offers itself, so the story goes, as a light-hearted examination of certain major social and contemporary issues in Kerala. Porattu Nadakam is based on a sequence of events that take place over 21 days in the village of Gopalapuram. Among the other well-known actors in this film are Saiju Kurup, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Ramesh Pisharody, Rahul Madhav, Nirmal Palazhy, and Arjun Vijayan.

Mura - Theatrical (October 18)

The young ensemble of this movie inevitably sets expectations for a distinctive storyline and performance style. Muhammad Musthafa, who made his feature film debut with Kappela, is the director of this movie. In addition to Suraj Venjaramoodu, the film features Hridhu Haroon, Maala Parvathi, Kani Kusruti, Kannan Nayar, Jobin Das, Anujith Kannan, Yedhu Krishna, Vigneshwar Suresh, Krish Hassan, and Alfred Jose.
