Case of Kondana
A crime thriller following different arcs - a series of home invasion murders, the death of a pani puri seller and a few police officers - as well as a father-daughter relationship, Case of Kondana is a compelling and gripping watch from the team of Seetharam Benoy. This one stars Vijay Raghavendra and Bhavana in the lead, along with Kushee Ravi, Rangayana Raghu, Raja Balwadi, among others.

ONDU SARALA PREMA KATHE
Director Simple Suni and Vinay Rajkumar collaborated on this romantic comedy about an aspiring music composer's hunt for the girl with a voice that matches the rhythm of his heart. In this process, he meets two lovely ladies, played by Mallika Singh and Swathishta Krishnan, but will he find the one that his heart truly desires.

UPADHYAKSHA
Comedian Chikkanna's transition to leading man, Upadhyaksha takes his character from the 2014 movie Adhyaksha and places him in the same set up, with the focus squarely on him. Chikkanna is Narayana Gowda, who is up against Shivarudre Gowda (P Ravi Shankar), while also romancing the latter's daughter. The film directed by Anil Kumar was a commercial success, following which it got an OTT deal.

BACHELOR PARTY
Debutant director Abhijit Mahesh's take on a bachelor party gone wrong has protagonists Santhosh (Diganth) and Maddy (Loose Mada Yogi) land in Bangkok, where they run into someone who should not be there. What happens thereafter forms the crux of the tale. The film also stars Siri Ravikumar, Achyuth Kumar, Balaji Manohar, Prakash Thumminad, among others

KAATERA
Challenging Star Darshan's year-end hit, Kaatera, directed by Tharun Kishore Sudhir, saw the actor in a 70s period film tackling the subject of the Land Reforms Act, whereby a farmer had the right to the land he tills. When feudal landlords stand in the way of letting this happen, Kaatera (Darshan) a blacksmith, fights for the rights of the farmers. The film marked the debut of Aradhanaa, the daughter of veteran actress Malashree.

Director Jayathirtha Jayanna picked a real-life inter-faith love story from the 80s for his film set in Bengaluru, and starring Dhanveerah and Megha Shetty in the lead.

GARADI
Director Yogaraj Bhat's first-ever sports drama, Garadi is set against traditional wrestling and the relationship dynamics between a popular coach and his students. A classic underdog tale, the film has Yashas Surya in the lead, who is paired with Sonal Monteiro. The film also has Challenging Star Darshan in a pivotal cameo.

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B
The second instalment of director Hemanth M Rao’s intense love story, featuring Rakshit Shetty in the lead, is finally on OTT. Released in theatres on November 17, 2023, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B was expected to stream within a month, pretty much like Side A, but for the longest time, there was uncertainty about the platform it would come on. Until Rakshit, who has also produced the film, confirmed that Side B would also be on Amazon Prime Video, along with Side A. The film, which also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Chaithra J Achar, Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Ramesh Indira, among others, picks up 10 years after the events of Side A, and follows Manu (Rakshit), as he tries to get a fresh start after his jail sentence.

The launch vehicle of politico Zameer Ahmed Khan’s son, Zaid Khan, Banaras, directed by J Jayathirtha, is a love story with a sci-fi angle to it, involving time loops. Zaid played Sid, a college student, whose prank on Dhani (Sonal Monteiro) goes horribly wrong, following which she relocates to Varanasi. What happens when Sid follows her there to make amends is what the film is about.

Ranchi
Based on director Shashikanth Gatti’s real-life experience, Ranchi is about an aspiring filmmaker, who gets a call to make a documentary for the Railway department, only to find out it is a part of an elaborate scam. Prabhu Mundkur plays the filmmaker, who then collaborates with the cops, led by Tota Roy Chowdhury (in his Kannada film debut), to catch the gang.
