As Duniya Vijay looks to revive the Kannada box office, Raj B Shetty debut Malayalam film drops on OTT with Kannada audio

This week, Kannada cinema has something to look forward to in the form of Duniya Vijay’s sophomore directorial. This is the film that could end the drought that Sandalwood has been facing in terms of box office hits since Kaatera. If Vijay’s film is the big title in theatres, on OTT, it is Malayalam megastar Mammootty’s Turbo, which, has Kannada actor Raj B Shetty as the main antagonist that is the major release of the week. It will be available with Kannada audio. Vasishta N Simha's action-packed romantic drama that has him in the lead is also on OTT this week.

Here’s a look at what is releasing on OTT and theatres in the week of August 5 to August 11

Turbo

Malayalam superstar Mammootty has been in top form at the box office with his home productions, which have also been well-received on OTT, like, for instance, Rorschach, Kaathal, Bramayugam, among others. And how will Raj B Shetty fare when pitted against the Malayalam superstar?

Directed by Vysakh and based on a story by Midhun Manuel Thomas, Turbo had a decent theatrical outing and is coming to OTT this week, with Kannada audio as well
