The third week of December comes with an interesting lineup of movies and shows that are set to release on OTT and in theatres. From Honey Singh’s documentary Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous on Netflix to Nidhi Singh and Samir Kochhar’s Moonwalk on Jio cinema, there’s something for everyone. Take a look at the list below:
Moonwalk stars Samir Kochhar, Nidhi Singh, and Anshuman Pushkar in key roles. The narrative of the show follows the lives of two thieves who are in a competition to steal the heart of a local heartthrob. However, as things go ahead, their rivalry gets them into dangerous yet hilarious consequences. The show is set to release on Jio Cinema on December 20, 2024.
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal's debut production Girls Will Be Girls features Kami Kusruti, Preeti Panigrahi, Keshav Bonoy Kiron, Kajol Chugh, and Jitin Gulati in the lead roles. The film revolves around a schoolgirl whose romance is disrupted by her mother. Starting December 18, you may watch the movie on Prime Video.

Netflix’s documentary delves into Honey Singh’s rise to stardom, fall from the spotlight, and inspiring comeback. This raw and intimate depiction of the rapper's life will give viewers a taste of his journey from early success as a pioneer of desi hip-hop and Punjabi pop to the hardships that compelled him to take a break and his big comeback into the industry. December 20 is the exclusive release date for Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous on Netflix.
Directed by Barry Jenkins, Mufasa: The Lion King is an animated musical drama film. It is produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Jeff Nathanson has worked on the movie's screenplay. For the Hindi version of the film, Shah Rukh Khan lends his voice to the iconic character of Mufasa. The other voices include Makarand Deshpande as Rafiki, Sanjay Mishra as Pumbaa, Shreyas Talpade as Timon, and Meiyang Chang as Taka. The film will explore the origins of Simba's father Mufasa and is scheduled to be released in theatres on December 20, 2024.
