Actor-politician Udhayanidhi's production house Red Giant Movies is on a roll. After bagging distribution rights of a few notable Tamil films which went on to become super hits, he has now acquired another much-awaited film. The leading production house will present Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha in Tamil Nadu.

The much-awaited Bollywood film will hit the screens across the country on August 11. The movie directed by Advait Chandan marks the return of the Bollywood superstar after a four-year hiatus. His last outing was the much-hyped Thugs of Hindostan which was released in 2018.

The social media handle of Red Giant Movies posted, "Proud and honoured to present the extraordinary journey of #LaalSinghChaddha. Tamil Nadu theatrical release by #RedGiantMovies (sic)." Fans of Aamir in Tamil Nadu expressed happiness in the comment section over the collaboration, while a few others came up with a sarcastic post on the production house bagging almost every big film these days.

Kamal Haasan's Vikram, Vijay's Beast and Sivakarthikeyan's Don were a few big ticket Tamil flicks Red Giant Movies bagged this year. This is in addition to Prabhas' Radhe Shyam and Nayanthara, Samantha, Vijay Sethupathi's Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.

Arya's Captain, Santhanam's Gulu Gulu, Silambarasan's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu and Vikram's Cobra are a few upcoming movies which Red Giant has bagged recently. Film buffs are sure that the production house will acquire theatrical rights of more movies this year.

Laal Singh Chaddha, which is the official remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, stars Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, Sharman Joshi, Mona Singh and Manav Vij among others playing crucial characters in it. The movie is expected to be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on August 11.
