Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently on a short break from the busy shooting schedules of L2 Empuraan. The actor-director, however, is expected to drop a big update on the film very soon.
Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently busy with the filming of his ambitious project, L2 Empuraan. Mohanlal is set to reprise his much-loved character Stephen Nedumpally aka Khureshi Abraam in the film, which is the second instalment in the Lucifer franchise. The new schedule of the much-awaited film started rolling in Thiruvananthapuram, recently. The actor-director, however, is now enjoying a quick break from the busy schedule of the film. However, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mohanlal are set to drop a big update, on October 16, 2024.
As per the latest updates, Prithviraj Sukumaran has taken a quick 3-day-long break from the shooting schedules of L2 Empuraan. The actor-filmmaker decided to take some time off from the shoot, to celebrate his birthday with his family. For the uninitiated, the multi-faceted talent is set to celebrate his 42nd birthday on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. As always, Prithviraj Sukumaran is planning to ring in his birthday with his family, and a few close friends.

If the recent updates are to be believed, Mohanlal and team L2 Empuraan are expected to reveal Prithviraj Sukumaran’s first look from the film, on October 16, 2024. Along with directing the film, Prithviraj is appearing in the role of Zayed Masood, the right-hand and confidante of protagonist Khureshi Abraam, in the franchise. Unlike the first installment Lucifer, the actor-filmmaker is expected to have a longer screen time in the upcoming second part, penned by Murali Gopy.

After the quick break, Prithviraj Sukumaran is expected to resume the filming of L2 Empuraan on Thursday, October 17, 2024, in Kochi. Later, the team is expected to move to Kuttikkanam, Kerala, for another quick schedule. The entire Kerala portion of the film will be wrapped up in another 15 days. The pending schedules of the much-awaited film will be shot at various locations of Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, and Morocco.
