L2 Empuraan: THIS actor joins Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film; Kochi schedule starts rolling

L2 Empuraan, the second installment of the Lucifer franchise is one of the most anticipated upcoming projects of the Malayalam film industry. The movie, which marks the third collaboration of Mohanlal and actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran started rolling in October 2023. As per the recent updates, director Prithviraj and his team are currently busy with the Kochi schedule of the action thriller, which started rolling recently. A recent video from the location of L2 Empuraan is now going viral on social media.

L2 Empuraan starts rolling in Kochi; Location video goes viral

Recently, a location video from the Kochi International Airport featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran and the L2 Empuraan team members is going viral on social media now. As per the recent updates, the Kochi schedule of the Mohanlal starrer started rolling a couple of days back. In the recent location videos, director Prithviraj is seen instructing to his technical crew members, as they were about to shoot some important sequences at the airport. However, none of the cast members are seen in the video, which is shared by a fan on social media.

Arjun Das joins L2 Empuraan

As per the reports, Arjun Das, the popular Tamil actor who rose to fame with his performance as Anbu Das in the blockbuster movie Kaithi, is set to make his Malayalam debut with L2 Empuraan. A recent picture of the talented actor from the sets of the Mohanlal starrer was leaked online. However, the makers will officially announce the star cast of the film, only after they wrap the entire filming. However, the grapevine suggests that Arjun Das is playing a negative role in the Prithviraj Sukumaran directorial.

As reported earlier, popular Malayalam actors Suraj Venjarammoodu, Shine Tom Chacko, and Sharaf U Dheen have joined L2 Empuraan’s star cast, during the Thiruvananthapuram schedule of the film. Along with the new members, the Lucifer cast, including Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Saniya Iyappan, and others are returning to the second installment to reprise their respective roles.
