Kuttush: Soumya Mukherjee plays yet another film with a furry friend
In Tathagata Mukherjee’s recent release Pariah, Soumya Mukherjee plays a heinous villain – an enemy of the strays. In fact, in Anindta Chattopadhyay’s Prem Tame, in which Soumya plays the lead, a dog plays a pivotal character. He is now getting back in another film, Kuttush, where he shares the screen with yet another dog.
The poster of Kuttush, which is directed by Angshuman Pratyush, was released recently. It shows a couple sitting on a mountain cliff, wearing winter clothes. A white dog is sitting between them, on the green grass.
Soumya Mukherjee will play the protagonist, but the female lead is not yet known. The film is produced by Saptarshi Sen and Shubhadeep Bhaumik. SMV Studio presents the film. The film will be released in 2024. Soumya Mukherjee also shared the poster on his Instagram profile.
Along with the poster, Soumya captioned, “Will you come to meet Tintin and Kuttush?” On his social media, The actor further added, “Presenting the first Pawsome glimpse Poster of #Kuttush. A film by @a_pratyush1986 and team. Produced by Saptarshi Sen and Shubhadeep Bhaumik.”
Soumya has delivered a stupendous performance in Pariah in which he plays the character of a ruthless butcher. His performance was lauded by viewers and critics alike.
Soumya has earlier worked on a number of national projects including, Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway.
