Kuthukku Pathu release date: When and where to watch this fun-filled Tamil dark comedy online

Movie buffs were in for a surprise when the team of Temple Monkeys, a popular YouTube channel, announced Kuthukku Pathu, a web series. Directed by Vijay Varadharaj, the makers revealed its first look and teaser, and announced details regarding its OTT release date and platform.

Billed as a dark comedy with ample comedy, action and suspense, the series features a bevy of debutant actors in notable roles. The one-minute teaser released by the team has been cut in such a way that the viewers do not get an idea of what makers have in store for them.

What's Kuthukku Pathu about?

The film's story revolves around a group of friends who try sorting out issues between a couple. When one of them gets attacked by the relatives of the couple, all the friends react in a harsh manner. The entry of a few gangsters into the plot makes things complex.

What happens further forms the rest of the story. Aadukalam Naren, Bose Venkat, Shah Ra and Bigg Boss fame Samyuktha among others play pivotal roles in the film apart from artists of Temple Monkeys.

When and where to watch Kuthukku Pathu online?

The web series will drop on aha Tamil on May 13. This is the third series to be released on the digital platform after the crime thriller, Sarath Kumar-starrer Irai and romantic drama Akash Vaani, which starred Kavin and Reba Monica John in lead roles. Santhosh Senthil has edited the film for which Madhan Kumar has helmed art direction.

AKV Durai has bankrolled the project under D Company Production; it has cinematography by Jagadeesh Ravi and music composed by Balamurali Balu.
