Vijay Deverakonda, last seen in the 2022 release Liger, will be more than eager to bounce back with a bang through Kushi, the romance drama directed by Shiva Nirvana. Samantha plays the female lead in the film produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers. The film is set to release in theatres across all South Indian languages, Hindi on September 1.

The promotional campaign for the film has generated encouraging responses to date, with viewers in awe of the lead pair for their superb on-screen chemistry. The first single, Na Roja Nuvve, lyricised by Shiva Nirvana himself, where he pays a tribute to Mani Ratnam, released last month and was a raging success. The biggest surprise was the popularity of the Hindi version sung by Javed Ali.

Hridayam fame composer Hesham Abdul Wahab makes his Telugu debut with the project. Today, the makers announced the launch date of Kushi’s second single Aradhya. “Giving you another melodious number to listen on loop. #Kushi Second Single #Aradhya on 12th July. Song promo out on 10th July,” Mythri Movie Makers confirmed in a tweet.

Vijay and Samantha look like a lovey-dovey couple in the poster released to confirm the song launch. While the former sports a light purple formal shirt, Samantha is seen in a pink attire. Holding each other’s hands, the couple is all smiles in the still.

Sid Sriram and Chinmayi Sripada have crooned for the song in its Telugu, Tamil versions. While Chinmayi has also sung in Kannada, the singers across multiple languages include Haricharan, Shweta Mohan, Jubin Nautiyal, Palak Muchhal, KS Harisankar. Shiva Nirvana has penned the Telugu lyrics; the other lyricists are Raqueeb Alam, Madhan Karky, V Nagendra Prasad, Arun Alat.

Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Saranya Pradeep essay other key roles in the film.
