Vineeth Sreenivasan’s ‘most eccentric role ever’
In an earlier interview with OTTplay, Vineeth said that he hasn’t done a role like that cop he played in Kurukkan ever before. “The closest I have come to playing a wild character like this was Ravi Padmanabhan in Thaneer Mathan Dinangal,” said Vineeth, whose acting in his recent films such as Thankam Mukundan Unni Associates and Pookkaalam were lauded by the critics and audiences. The latter two are available on Disney+ Hotstar, while Thankam is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Another reason that Vineeth was thrilled to work on the movie was that he could act with his father Sreenivasan again. “This is the genre that he loves the most and that’s why he was also more than happy to come back with a comedy,” said Vineeth, who is currently working on M Mohanan’s Oru Jathi Jathakam.
