Kurban: Ankush and Priyanka Sarkar team up for a new film

Ankush Hazra and Priyanka Sarkar will share the screen again. After the films Bibaho Abhijan and Abar Bibaho Abhijan, they will now be seen in Saibal Mukherjee's film. Unlike the Bibaho Obhijaan franchise, there are no more runaway husbands, but rather a simple family story with a human touch.

The film’s name is Kurban. They will play Hasan and Hijal. This will tell the story of a Muslim family in Bengal. The story will tell a humane tale in a rural backdrop. In the film, Hasan has his abba, ammi, ammi's adopted sister, her son Hasu, and Hijal. Hasan loves them immensely. Hasan is a sensitive person who looks at life differently than others, which throws him grave challenges. A storm comes to Hasan's happy family and his values are questioned. The story deals with what he does then.

Priyanka said, “The script reflects sensitivity and a human touch. Every character has a human side and they are all wonderful persons. Though Hijal is an ordinary girl, she can express her demands.” The actress said that they were going to shoot in all real locations – rural areas of Bengal.

Ankush will be in a new look in the film. He said, “I went through different layers of feelings to play the role. The character has influenced me and left a mark on my mind.”

Santilal Mukherjee, Kanchan Mallik, and Buddhadeb Bhattacharya will play other vital roles in the film, which will be released at the end of this year.
