Kundali Bhagya actor Shakti Arora on filming emotional scene: I immerse myself completely into the character

Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya is one of the most popular daily soaps in the country. The Shraddha Arya starrer is a spin-off of the television giant's other show, Kumkum Bhagya starring Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia. Shakti Arora is one of the new entrants in the Ekta Kapoor tv-series. For the first time, the famous television actor plays a grey character in the show.

Initially, during shooting for a Kundali Bhagya promo video, Shakti suffered an injury doing his stunts but recovered soon after. Talking about his character and the show the actor unveiled in a recent statement that he plans his upcoming sequences before filming them. He mentioned that he completely immerses himself before filming a shot and also goes through the script thoroughly to channel the demanded emotion for a perfect take.

The Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi actor further unveiled that recently while shooting a sequence the actor started shedding tears without the glycerine due to the emotion of the scene. He also added that he got deeply affected by his as well as others' characters and the emotion that came out due to their sentimental conversation. "The team had also kept glycerin on standby, however, I have stopped using glycerin for emotional sequences in this show as I am so much into the character and I try to channel my inner emotions to perform the sequence in the best way possible and that’s what happened," he concluded his sentence.

Meanwhile, apart from Shakti, Sonal Vengurlekar and Niya Sharma are the other two new actors to debut on the show as the former's relatives.

While Niya plays Shakti's love interest in Kundali Bhagya, Sonal essays Niya's sister.

Kundali Bhagya, which also has Manit Joura, Anjum Fakih, Ruhi Chaturvedi, Sanjay Gagnani and Abhishek Kapur among others, can be streamed online on ZEE5.
