Kunchacko Boban's Chaaver caught the attention of the public through its thrilling and intense motion posters. The makers have now released another poster with a confirmed release date of September 21. The poster shows the lead characters standing near a Jeep, with Kunchacko standing on the bonnet of the vehicle. Chaaver was originally scheduled to release in July but got delayed due to various reasons. According to reports the makers postponed its release in July to avoid a clash with Dileep starrer Voice of Sathyanathan.

Chaaver is touted to be a political thriller helmed by Tinu Pappachan known for his previous two movies, Ajagajantharam and Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil. Scripted by Joy Mathew, the film's earlier posters hints at an intense drama with thrilling action scenes. Chaaver features Kunchacko Boban as a man in his 40s and the film is sure to explore the untapped sides of the actor. In an interview with OTTplay, the director said that Chaaver is not an out-and-out action film but maintains that mood throughout.
The movie stars Arjun Ashokan, Antony Varghese and Manoj KU in pivotal roles. Sajin Gopu known for his character in the recent horror comedy, Romancham is also part of the cast. Cinematographer Jinto George, who has worked on Tinu Pappachan's previous projects, shot the film in over 10 locations. This is Tinu's biggest film to date, and he has other projects in the pipeline with Dulquer Salmaan and Dileep. Additionally, Tinu will direct a project for Janatha Motion Pictures, scripted by S Suresh Babu.
Kunchacko Boban's Padmini in Netflix
Meanwhile, the previous film of Kunchacko Boban to hit theatres was Padmini, which got a decent response at the box office. Padmini currently streaming on Netflix is a comedy-drama, helmed by Senna Hegde.
Kunchacko Boban's upcoming projects
The actor's upcoming projects are Grrr, Aaraam Paathiraa and Mariyam Tailors. Grrr is a feel-good comedy film, helmed by Ezra director, Jay K. The film which had locations in South Africa features Suraj Venjaramoodu, Rajesh Madhavan and Shobhi Thilakan in pivotal roles.
