Krushna Abhishek has finally opened up about ending the feud with his uncle Govinda. Here's what Krushna said about letting bygones be bygones.
Krushna Abhishek and Govinda have finally let bygones be bygones. They hadn't been on talking terms for seven years. While Krushna apologized several times, neither Govinda nor his wife Sunita Ahuja reciprocated positively. However, things have changed for the better between Krushna and his 'mama'. Govinda will be making an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, which also features Krushna. In an interview, the comedian also reacted to burying the hatchet with his uncle.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Krushna Abhishek spoke about his reunion with Govinda. The comedian said it was one of his 'best experiences' after a long time. Krushna further said, "Maine stage par bhi bola ki mera saat saal ka vanwas khatam ho gaya. We are together now, and we danced and had so much fun."
For the uninitiated, things got better between them after Govinda marked his presence at his niece Arti Singh's (Krushna's sister) wedding. The comedian added that things also changed after the Bollywood actor's leg injury. Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg.
Although Krushna was in Sydney when the incident happened, the comedian's wife Kashmera Shah was among the first ones to visit the hospital. "He was very nice to her, and she spoke to him for a while in the ICU. After that, I realised that things are going to get better now," shared Krushna.
Having said that, Krushna believed things would be fine one day as 'blood relations are blood relations'. "I just never thought it would happen when he’d get shot. But I am happy that he is fine now, and he is even dancing. So, people will now know that his leg is fine now," he added.
Meanwhile, Govinda will be seen on The Great Indian Kapil Show along with Chunky Panday and Shakti Kapoor. A promo featuring Govinda jokingly calling Krushna 'gadha' has gone viral on social media. The episode will air on November 30, on Netflix.
