Kriti Sanon kickstarts shoot for The Crew: Too excited for this one

The film will see her share the screen with Tabu and Kareena Kapoor.

The Crew definitely generated a lot of interest among audiences when it was announced. The film definitely seems to hold a lot of promise, uniting three of the biggest female stars in the industry today, Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, Kriti Sanon, on the silver screen for the first ever time. Kriti recently took to social media to announce that she had started filming for the same.

Kriti shared the picture of a clapboard with the film’s name written on it. In the caption of the post, the actress spoke of how excited she was for her ‘new beginnings’ saying that she had butterflies in her stomach at the thought. “The feeling of a new story, a new character.. this journey will be a memorable one”, she wrote. The actress also added that she ‘missed’ her co-stars Kareena and Tabu.

In an earlier statement, Kriti had also spoken about how the film had a unique story with very strong characters. She had opened up about her excitement to work with Tabu and Kareena.

The upcoming film will revolve around the lives of women who work in the airline industry, who find their lives interrupted when they get caught in a web of lies. The upcoming film will be produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. Rajesh Krishnan will direct the film, which will be produced under the banners of Balaji Motion Pictures Limited and Anil Kapoor Productions.

Meanwhile, Kriti was last seen in Shehzada, the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The film, directed by Rohit Dhawan, saw her reunite with her Luka Chuppi co-star Kartik Aaryan. The film will be available for streaming on Netflix after its theatrical run.

The actress’ upcoming releases include Adipurush with Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, and Ganapath with Tiger Shroff.
