Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya to get a sequel? Kriti Sanon says 'It is currently...'

Kriti Sanon was a part of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya with Shahid Kapoor. In a recent interview, the actress spoke about a sequel to TBMAUJ.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, had its theatrical release in 2024. Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film did well at the box office. The plot of TBMAUJ was about a human falling in love with a robot. The unusual romantic-comedy's ending hinted at a sequel to the film. And now, Kriti has confirmed Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya's second installment. The actress also shared the latest update about the TBMAUJ sequel.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya sequel confirmed

In an interview with Filmfare, Kriti Sanon confirmed that a sequel for Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is in the works. The actress revealed, "The sequel for Teri Baaton Mein... is currently being written. We’re both eager for it to happen soon. Working with Shahid has been a joy for me. I believe we also have great chemistry together."

Sanon added that one's chemistry with certain actors just clicks and there's no need to force it. And for Kriti, Shahid is one of those actors, with whom her chemistry instantly worked on the screen. Besides the two actors, TBMAUJ's star cast included veteran actors Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia.

When Kriti Sanon didn't shoot for 14 months

In the same conversation, Kriti was asked if she ever got insecure when she wasn't getting work. To this, the actress recalled the early days of her acting career. "Yes, there was a time when I didn’t shoot for about 14 months. I felt insecure about not being visible. Being new in the industry, I worried that if I wasn’t seen, I might be forgotten," stated Kriti.

The actress further said she was eager to work and be noticed during the initial phase of her career. But now, visibility isn't a concern for Kriti as she prioritizes quality over quantity. As of today, Sanon has a strong desire to be on a film set where she feels alive.

On the work front, the actress was last seen in Crew with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu.
