Naga Shaurya's next film, Krishna Vrinda Vihari, a romantic comedy, is two weeks away from its theatrical release, on April 22. Shirley Setia, who shot to fame with the Netflix show Maska, is leading lady and makes her Telugu debut with the project. Anish R Krishna, who last helmed Gaali Sampath, has directed the light-hearted romantic comedy. Radhika Sarathkumar, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Satya and Brahmaji play important roles in the film.

An announcement about Varshamlo Vennella, the first song from Krishna Vrinda Vihari, which has music by Mahati Swara Sagar, was made recently. The song, a heartwarming melody featuring the lead pair, is all set to release tomorrow. Today the makers revealed that The Family Man actress Samantha will be launching the song across her social media handles. Samantha and Naga Shaurya had earlier collaborated for Oh Baby, the super hit film directed by Nandini Reddy.

The promo of the Varshamlo Vennela was also launched today. Naga Shaurya is cast in the role of a Brahmin youngster in the film while Shirley Setia plays his love interest. Krishna Vrinda Vihari is a home production for Naga Shaurya. The film is produced by his mother Usha Mulpuri under Ira Creations and presented by his father Shankar Prasad Mulpuri. The chirpy urban tale is cinematographed by Sai Sriram with Tammiraju handling the edits.

The film, which has wrapped its shoot, is finishing all formalities for release at a quick pace. The promos, posters and the recently released teaser have generated a terrific response among crowds.
