Krishna Vrinda Vihari: Naga Shaurya, Shirley Setia's romantic comedy gets a release date

Actor Naga Shaurya, who was last seen alongside Ketika Sharma in the sports drama Lakshya in December 2021, is getting ready for another release. He is teaming up with Shirley Setia (seen in the Netflix show Maska) for a romantic comedy Krishna Vrinda Vihari. The film is directed by Anish R Krishna, who directed Ala Ela, Lover in the past. Krishna Vrinda Vihari is produced by Usha Mulpuri (Naga Shaurya's mother) under Ira Creations (that also produced Chalo, Narthanasala in the past).

The release date of Krishna Vrinda Vihari was announced today. The film will release across the globe on April 22 and promises to be a fulfilling summer treat. While there are no releases announced for April 22, Krishna Vrinda Vihari has to deal with competition coming from the previous, upcoming weekends in the form of Ramarao on Duty (April 15) and Acharya (April 28/29 - tentative).

The release date announcement poster has Naga Shaurya and actress Shirley Setia going on a scooter ride. Both Shaurya and Shirley Setia are dressed in traditional outfits and make for a good on-screen pair. The makers are reportedly happy with the response for the film’s title and first look poster. As a per the media statement, Naga Shaurya will be playing an amusing character in te film that also features Radhika, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Satya and Brahmaji in important roles.

Shankar Prasad Mulpuri is the presenter of the film while Mani Sharma's son and composer Mahati Swara Sagar is scoring the music. Krishna Vrinda Vihari promises to be an out and out comedy, has cinematography by Sai Sriram and is edited by Tammiraju. Shirley Setia's other release this year is Nikamma, where she's cast alongside Meenakshi Sundareshwar actor Abhimanyu Dassani.
