Apart from Sarkaru Vaari Paata and F3, the entire month of May is populated by a flurry of small and medium budget Telugu releases. Naga Shaurya's upcoming romantic entertainer, Krishna Vrinda Vihari, is one among them. Directed by Gaali Sampath, Ala Ela fame Anish R Krishna, the film marks the Telugu debut of Shirley Setia, who starred in Netflix's original Maska. Usha Mulpuri has bankrolled the film under Ira Creations while Shankar Prasad Mulpuri is the presenter. Krishna Vrinda will hit theatres on May 20.
Krishna Vrinda Vihari has music by Mahati Swara Sagar (son of composer Mani Sharma). The first single of the light-hearted tale, Varshamlo Vennella, launched by Samantha, turned out to be a breezy, instantly likeable number. The makers today have announced the launch date of the second single. A foot-tapping dance number titled Emundi Ra sung by Haricharan, the lyrical video of the second single will be unveiled tomorrow.
The song announcement poster is accompanied by an image where Naga Shaurya is lifting Shirley, who's dressed in a funky costume, decked with gold, wearing denim shorts. A series of background dancers can also be spotted in addition a lot of floral decoration in the backdrop. Looks like music buffs are in for a peppy song with eye-catchy visuals tomorrow. And of course, Naga Shaurya and Shirley Setia make for a terrific on-screen pair.
The film has more or less wrapped its post-production formalities. The crew includes editor Tammiraju, cinematographer Sai Sriram and art director Ramkumar. Radhika Sarathkumar, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Satya and Brahmaji essay important roles too. Krishna Vrinda Vihari was to release on April 22 initially, but was pushed by four weeks later, for reasons best known to the makers. Naga Shaurya's last release was the sports drama Lakshya.
