Kranti goes on floors: Darshan and Rachitha Ram reunite for his 55th film
Darshan and Rachita have not worked together since their 2014 outing Ambareesha.

Vijayadashami was a special day for team Kranti, as they flagged off the film with a special muhurtha puja. Joining the producer duo Shylaja Nag and B Suresha were director V Harikrishna and Darshan Thoogudeepa, along with the film’s leading lady Rachitha Ram. Shylaja Nag took to social media today to share the amazing news along with pictures of the team taking part in the ceremony.
Helmed by V Harikrishna, Kranti marks the reunion of the producers Shylaja Nag and B Suresha along with the director and the Challenging Star Darshan after their blockbuster outing, Yajamana. Talking about the puja ceremony that took place today, the team of Kranti shared a joyous moment today while launching the movie. Celebrities like Sumalatha and her son, Abishek Ambareesh, along with Ravichandra V joined the film team to cut a cake and mark the beginning of Kranti.
From the looks of the teaser poster released by the team of Kranti, the upcoming entertainer’s narrative is expected to follow a revolution brought about by a hero or messiah.
In the run-up to the launch, there was speculation galore about who would be the leading lady, given that Darshan has been paired with some of the hottest names on the circuit in his earlier films. This is the third collaboration for Darshan and Rachita having worked together on Bulbul and Ambareesha earlier.
