The team of the upcoming film will be in attendance, but as spectators only, he said.
For fans of Challenging Star Darshan, the countdown to his next big release, Kranti, began months ago. But now, with less than 50 days to go for the film’s theatrical outing, the tempo has picked up. In the last couple of weeks, the actor has been busy giving interview after interview to every media outlet and social media influencer as promised and now, he comes with yet another piece of good news for his fans, whom he calls his celebrities.
A few days ago, it was announced that the first song from the film’s soundtrack would be released in Mysuru. Turns out, the team of the film is going to make it extra special for fans. In a special message for his fans, Darshan gave them a sneak peek of the song, and announced the venue of the launch, but, more importantly, stressed on the fact that he and the rest of the team would be there as spectators only, with the actual launch to be done by his celebrities. “Kranti’s first song, Dharani, will be launched in front of Mysuru’s Vijaya Theatre on December 10. Kranti belongs to you, so we want you to tell us what you think of your film,” said the actor in his video message.
Kranti, which is Darshan’s second collaboration with director Harikrishna and producers Shylaja Nag and B Suresha, pairs him with his Bulbul and Ambareesha co-star Rachita Ram. The film is set for a Republic Day release. The team is looking at dubbing it into other languages, but Darshan has repeatedly said that he will not promote it anywhere but in Karnataka as he has made a Kannada film. Kranti’s soundtrack, meanwhile, has five songs, each of which will be released in the run-up to the film’s theatrical outing.
