Director Shashank has built his reputation over the years for developing engaging love stories that strike a chord with audiences. His films like Krishnan Love Story and Love 360 have surpassed the regular tropes of a romance drama and managed to discuss something beyond the usual. One such attempt is his upcoming love story Kousalya Supraja Rama which stars Darling Krishna, Brinda Acharya and Sudha Belawadi in lead roles.

Shashank and the team unveiled the first look of this promising feature which comes with an intriguing tagline called 'Tale of Real Man'. Interestingly, Krishna, in this new poster, looks quite suave and 'manly' in the stereotypical sense with lush facial hair and a brooding expression on his face. However, the same "intense" look comes as a catch because Shashank is out to communicate a larger idea with Kousalya Supraja Rama.

The first-look poster, too, withholds many key details to suggest the duality of the central character's being. On one hand, there is the element of mythology (alluding to the title of the film) with a silhouette of a temple with a contrasting image of a cityscape on the other side. Relationships, as in Shashank's every film, will form the crux and the protagonist's two main ties strikingly feature in the poster.

"Sri Rama, an excellent son of Kausalya, the sun is about to rise in the eastern skies. arise to offer the early morning oblations - Suprabhata," wrote Shashank in his tweet which also carried the first look poster.

Darling Krishna plays the role of Rama in the film with Sudha Belawadi essaying his mother's character and Brinda Acharya coming in as his love interest. The tagline of 'Tale of Real Man', according to Shashank, is about how women perceive a "real man", one who is beyond the conventions, and the heart of the story is the relationship between Kousalya and Ram, the mother and the son of the story.
