Rahul Vijay, Shivani Rajashekar essayed other crucial roles in the cop saga helmed by Teja Marni
Kotabommali PS, the Telugu remake of the award-winning Malayalam film Nayattu, released in theatres to glowing reviews and enjoyed a decent run at the box office this November. The cop saga had a stellar star cast comprising Srikanth, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rahul Vijay and Shivani Rajashekar. Teja Marni, who helmed the critically acclaimed OTT release Johaar, directed the film.
While film released on the screens globally on November 24, the drama was expected to land on OTT in the last weekend of December, just before the New Year. A few predicted that it would arrive in the first week of January 2024, though the reports proved to be untrue. Now, aha, which has bagged the film’s digital rights, has confirmed that the film will arrive on OTT for Sankranthi.
Though the official OTT premiere date is not out yet, Kotabommali PS is expected to arrive anytime between January 12 -14. Sankranthi has always been a special season for film enthusiasts in Telugu states. As many as five Telugu films are releasing theatrically on January 12, 13 and 14, now the digital premiere of the Srikanth, Varalaxmi starrer is set to add sheen to a streaming enthusiast’s playlist.

Nagendra Kasi wrote the dialogues for the film produced by Bunny Vas and Vidya Koppineedi under GA2 Pictures. Karthika Srinivas R is the editor of the cop saga which had cinematography by Jagadeesh Cheekati. Gandhi Nadikudikar was the art director for the film while Midhun Mukundan composed Lingi Lingi Lingidi, a reimagined version of a popular Srikakulam folk number.
