Kota Bommali PS is the official remake of the Malayalam hit Nayattu. Allu Aravind's GA 2 Pictures has remade the film in Telugu and released it on November 24, 2023. The cop drama has opened to positive word of mouth with glowing reviews from all over.

The cop drama has now locked its digital partner. A few weeks back, we at OTTplay have already reported that the Telugu OTT platform, Aha is in talks to bag the OTT rights. As reported, Aha has finalized the deal for a fancy price for this film which is a survival thriller.

The news is that the producers made a handsome profit with the digital rights of the film. As per the update, Kota Bommali PS will be streaming from the third week of December 2023. The basic twists and the jibes taken at the politicians have also worked well for the film.

Teja Marini has directed this film which has Srikanth, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Shivani Rajasekhar, and Rahul Vijay in key roles. A lot of changes have been made to the remake and a new tone was given to the cop drama which made the film look unique from the day the promos were out.

Kota Bommali has had a limited release and if the response is going to get better, the makers are in plans to add more screens in a few areas of Telugu states. Bunny Vas has produced this film on a very tight budget. The gripping promos and the cult Lingdi song have worked wonders for this film.
