Antony Varghese's latest film, Kondal, will make it to the digital space soon. The action drama, which hit the big screens in September during Onam, will begin streaming on Netflix from October 13. There was a lot of anticipation for the film because of the enthusiastic fan base that the actor had developed for his action plays in the past.

Kondal to stream on Netflix

Kondal's online streaming service was announced in advance in contrast to other Onam releases like Ajayante Randam Moshanam and Kishkindha Kaandam. But the Antony Varghese film did not have a good theatrical run, therefore, it is being released on OTT before the other two films.

RDX, one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of the previous year, is another movie available on Netflix. Shane Nigam, Neeraj Madhav, and Antony Varghese played the lead roles in this 2023 Onam release movie.

What is Pepe's Kondal all about?

The plot revolves around the life of the main character, Manuel. He was forced to leave Munambam Harbour to begin working on St Anthony's boat due to a major dispute that started in his community of Anchuthengu. Unexpected events change both Manuel's life and the lives of those who work on the boat. This film features some dramatic action sequences that are filmed at sea. There are moments when Antony's performance in Kondal reminds one of his previous roles, such as Vincent Pepe in Angamaly Diaries and Lali in Ajagajantharam.

Ajit Mampally is the director of Kondal, produced by Weekend Blockbusters, the same production firm that gave the successful movie RDX. Kannada actor Raj B Shetty, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Nandu, Manikanda Rajan, Pramod Veliyanadu, Prathibha, Gauthami Nair, Usha, Jaya Kurup, Sarath Sabha, Siraj, and Rahul Rajagopal make up the impressive Kondal ensemble.
