The release of Lokesh Kanagaraj's action film Vikram is three weeks away, but social media is abuzz with posts about each and every update about the Kamal Haasan-starrer. After unveiling a few promo videos, the makers released its first single, Pathala Pathala, yesterday evening. The song, which has been written and sung by Kamal himself, has music composed by Anirudh.

It has already crossed 10M views on YouTube and has made many movie lovers and music buffs listen to it in loop. Many Kollywood celebs took to social media and went gaga over Kamal's unusual, but catchy lyrics and energetic voice. The lyric video has Kamal making a few unique dance moves leaving his fans in a tizzy.

Anirudh has also been receiving praise for his distinct composition. Karthik Subbaraj, who worked with the musician in Petta, said he is in awe of the lyrics. He tweeted, "Loved it.... Especially the 'Janaki.... Koovu' bit (sic)."

Actor-host Dhivya Dharshini posted that "India’s Legendary Actor is here after a long time to set the screen ablaze" and added that director Lokesh proves his commitment as a huge fan of the Ulaganayagan. Actor Sathish felt that the song is "vera level" and added that he is waiting for the movie to release.

Actor Vijayalakshmi couldn't express her excitement. She tweeted that it's been a long time since she has watched Kamal having fun dancing to a peppy song and congratulated Lokesh and Anirudh.

Music director Dharan Kumar felt the song has swag written all over it and that he has been listening to it repeatedly. Actor Master Mahendran said that no one can match the grace and energy Kamal Haasan exudes and was all praise for Sandy for choreographing stylish dance moves in the song.
