Popular chat show Coffee with Karan is all set to be back, this time around on OTT. The show, which is all set to stream on Disney + Hotstar from July 7, will have many new faces who will be making their debut on the show, including the Family Man sensation Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The makers have been releasing promos for the new season, along with a video montage of some memorable moments from the previous season.

In one such instances, during the fourth season, when Alia Bhatt had appeared on the show along with her Student of the Year co-stars Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, she was quizzed who the President of India was during the rapidfire round. She had immediately replied, "Prithviraj Chauhan". Pranab Mukherjee was the President of India at the time. Soon, she became a butt of jokes among trolls, and her IQ level was questioned as well. A number of memes were made about her General Knowledge and the actress was ridiculed for the same on a number of occasions.

Alia once again appeared on the show in the fifth season, this time along with none other than her Dear Zindagi co-star and Baadshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan in the opening episode. While Shah Rukh Khan won the rapidfire round and took home the gift hamper, Alia beat him in the General Knowledge buzzer round. When Shah Rukh Khan stated that President Pranab Mukherjee had changed Alia's life, Alia thanked the President Pranab Mukherjee for changing her life.

The actress, who recently got married to her crush and long-time boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, announced her pregnancy on social media, along witha picture of the husband-wife duo looking at the sonogram. On the work front, Ranbir and Alia are coming together for Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji. This is the first time that the duo is working on a film together.
