Koffee with Karan Season 8 - Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan roast Karan Johar; funnily accuse him of child labour

Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan recently graced Koffee with Karan Season 8 wherein they engaged in a fun banter with Karan Johar.

Woah! The heartthrobs of Bollywood, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, were featured in an episode of Koffee with Karan Season 8 recently. Hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, this episode was inclusive of their personal lives, professional lives, and more. While they discussed their lives on the couch of the show, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan did not spare Karan Johar from their roast.

During a conversation on the show, Sidharth and Varun funnily elaborated on how they felt on the sets of Student of The Year. For the unfamiliar, Student of The Year – a film directed by Karan Johar, marked Sidharth and Varun’s debut in the film industry. This film also marked Alia Bhatt’s debut in Bollywood.

Karan began the conversation by recalling the time when Alia once wanted a cupcake on the set of the film. Hearing this, Sidharth and Varun left no opportunity to make fun of Karan and roast him.

Sidharth said, “Yes, because you starved her. You did not want people to eat (on the set).” Varun added, “Yaa, you (Karan) were not letting us eat as well. There was a ration of food coming to us.”

Sidharth funnily added, “There was a budget cut from our own film.”

Karan bounced into action and asserted, “What rubbish are you all talking about? I am going to come across as very wrong.”

Despite Karan saying this, Varun did not stop roasting the filmmaker. Pointing towards Sidharth, Varun said, “I remember he (Sidharth) was so dehydrated.” Sidharth mockingly added, “Yes, twice (I felt dehydrated). It was child labour.”

Giving an unconvinced reaction, Karan said, “Child labour? What?” Varun and Sidharth went ahead and added that Karan had more looks on the set of Student of The Year than anyone else. Later, Karan laughed away and wondered whether the two hotties of Bollywood did not allow him to speak on his own show.
