Koffee With Karan 8 - Rohit Shetty on 'highly volatile' Ranveer Singh, 'He has a different energy altogether'

The upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8 will see Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn talk at length about films, success and Ranveer Singh!

There’s something about Karan Johar. You may love him or hate him, but just cannot ignore him! And, even if you choose to ignore him, he will be on your TV screens and mobile phones either selling soups or spectacles or even hair dyes! These days, Karan Johar is busier than ever.

While on one hand, he is busy with the production of his upcoming films, on the other hand, he is busy shooting for the most celebrated celebrity chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’, which is presently in its eighth season. The latest celebs to grace the ‘koffee kouch’ are none other than Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, whose episode will be telecasted this week.

Today, Disney Plus Hotstar took to social media and posted a video promo of the upcoming episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’ which features Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn. The teaser starts off with Rohit Shetty talking about drawing comparisons between Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan. And then, the topic drifted to Ranveer Singh, whom Karan Johar terms as ‘high volatile actor’, about whom Rohit Shetty says that he has a different energy level altogether.

Post that, Karan Johar gets into the most eagerly awaited Rapid Fire round. And when it’s the turn of Rohit Shetty, Karan throws an array of questions starting with to name that person who changes dialogues during a take. Without batting an eyelid, Rohit replied, “Ranveer Singh”. This was followed by Karan asking Rohit to name the actor who has a meltdown prior to a difficult scene. Rohit Shetty, in the same posture and at ultimate ease on his face, replies, “Ranveer Singh”.

Karan Johar, then, asks Rohit Shetty to name that one hero who goes bonkers at a rap party. Rohit Shetty, with utmost confidence, replies, “Same guy… Ranveer Singh”. This is followed by peals of laughter between Ajay Devgn, Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty. The said episode will be streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar on December 21.
