Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 7 Story:

When two of B-Town's most beloved hit machines, Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani, grace the couch, what may happen? Get down to their dance fight, marriage and career advice, and romantic proposal tales!

Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 7 Review:

Vicky Kaushal mentioned in the episode that "hum shuddhi karne aaye hai." And we agree that the episode was pure, pious, and quite enjoyable. Both Vicky and Kiara Advani knew what people would expect from them, and that's basically more about their respective partners, Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra. The couples' appearances after entering marital bliss have brought a sense of freedom, as they have thrown off their guards.

What redemption Karan Johar made this time was balancing a little out by getting into the professional lives of both actors, right from the beginning. When the award acceptance-type speech came along by Vicky and Kiara, the filmmaker-host called them class toppers, only to move on to their proposal stories. However, unlike the Varun Dhawan and Sidharth episode, where it was "all about loving your family," this time the host also probably took the feedback that discussion can be fun even if it's work.

This episode probably churned out stories via games, as they played two apart from the rapid-fire round. The Koffee Shots, which is a "never have I ever" game, brought out more interesting stories about breaking the ice with in-laws, liking certain things for the sake of their partner, and more. It was a relief, as both Vicky and Kiara also seemed interested in being game and probably giving "content" that the season was lacking from the past six episodes.

However, that also took a deep turn when an unexpected Shah Rukh Khan topic came along. Over the past two seasons, his absence has led to a more frequent mention of his name. Well, SRK as a topic has received a warmer reception than Alia Bhatt, if you know what I mean!

The stories never stopped coming, even during the rapid-fire round, and this is the most we have learned about the celebrities this season. Everyone has shared anecdotes until now, but Vicky and Kiara added more substance to them by making reactive statements, raising the entertainment quotient by far.

Meanwhile, this is one episode where I didn't find anything to criticise, even Karan trying to make it non-PG edition by asking "doing Dhoni" to Kiara while she talked about the film, and she ended up asking him to stop being pervy. Or also telling her not to say nine months into marriage, making her think twice before realising what he even meant. Karan exclusively reserved such jokes for her, as Vicky is solely turned on by "Parampara, Pratishtha, and Anushasan."

This episode has many highlight moments, which include the proposal stories of both actors. But one that takes the cake is putting Karan in the spotlight, as Kiara mentioned that her parents are of his age. It was actually one of the most hilarious moments, given that the filmmaker is definitely young at heart but actually thriving in his 50s.

Probably we are bang in the middle of this season of Koffee With Karan Season 8 and maybe the best is what we can expect ahead from the forthcoming episodes. Or was this the best one they got from all the celebrities? Nevertheless, after a 19-year-long episode, the benchmark is truly high and unmatchable.

But credit where it's due; take note from Vicky and Kiara, or kudos to them for being well-trained in conducting themselves by being their candid best on the talk show.

Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 7 Verdict:

Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani brewed up a delightful concoction of laughter and revelations. This episode not only delivered an exceptional dose of entertainment but also infused a flawless combination of cleverness and allure.
