Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have marked their presence on Karan Johar's talk show for more than a decade now. This is their first appearance together on Koffee With Karan.

Only a few hours are left until the premiere of Koffee With Karan Season 8. The first guests on the latest season are set to be Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, making their first-ever appearance together after their wedding. It's been nearly five years since the couple tied the knot, and interestingly, after skipping the previous season, this will be the first time after her wedding that DP will be marking her presence on Karan Johar's talk show.

Over the span of eight seasons, Deepika and Ranveer have appeared in almost every season since their Bollywood debut. But did you know the Pathaan actor's debut on Koffee With Karan was before her debut film, Om Shanti Om hit the big screen?

Deepika Padukone with Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan (2007):

While Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan spoke at length about the superstar flaunting his six-pack abs for Om Shanti Om song Dard-e-Disco Deepika Padukone made an appearance later in the show, where she spoke at length about romancing SRK in her debut film. The then-newcomer had also addressed rumours of dating Ranbir Kapoor but didn't confirm it until a year later or so.

Deepika Padukone with Sonam Kapoor (2010):

Deepika Padukone appeared with Sonam Kapoor in the third season, and this was after she parted ways with Ranbir Kapoor. The episode turned out to be quite controversial, as many claimed that both actors were quite bitchy towards RK, and it didn't go well with his parents, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.

Ranveer Singh with Anushka Sharma (2011):

The Band Baaja Baaraat duo Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma made their debut appearance on Koffee With Karan Season 3. The actors spoke at length about their on-screen chemistry but denied the dating rumours. However, netizens also called out Ranveer for his bizarre comment on Anushka, and the latter even hit him instantly after he said it.

Ranveer Singh with Arjun Kapoor (2013):

Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, the Gunday duo, appeared together in the fourth season. This was also around the same time when rumours of Deepika and Ranveer started making the rounds, which the latter straight-up denied, giving a puzzled look.

Deepika Padukone with Priyanka Chopra (2014):

Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra came together onscreen for the first time ahead of Bajirao Mastani on Koffee With Karan Season 4. Their camaraderie was well appreciated, as they showed that it's only a perception that people in Bollywood cannot stay friends.

Ranveer Singh with Ranbir Kapoor (2016):

This was a one-of-a-kind casting coup by Karan Johar in Season 5. Although Ranveer continued to deny dating Deepika, Ranbir Kapoor, who was mum about his relationship with Katrina Kaif, opened up about the breakup without naming her.

Deepika Padukone with Alia Bhatt (2018):

After a no-show in the fifth season, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt opened the sixth season of Koffee With Karan. This episode aired just a few hours after Deepika and Ranveer shared the news of their wedding on social media pages. Although not opening up about the wedding, DP finally confirmed that she has been dating Ranveer for about six years.

Ranveer Singh with Akshay Kumar (2018):

It was a fanboy moment for Ranveer Singh to appear with Akshay Kumar in the sixth season. The actors had a blast while they shared amazing stories and also spoke about their common interests. During the rapid fire, Ranveer even called Deepika 'hummingbird'.

Ranveer Singh with Alia Bhatt (2022):

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt opened the seventh season of Koffee With Karan Season 7. This was shot just after Alia's wedding with Ranbir Kapoor and marked Ranveer's first appearance after tying the knot with Deepika Padukone. The dynamic duo flaunted their banter as they were also shooting Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
