Koffee With Karan Season 7: Filmmaker Karan Johar starts production of his famous talk show

The stars of his upcoming film, Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahaani, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh will reportedly be the first guests on the chat show.

Filmmaker Karan Johar will be back with the fan-favourite chat show, Koffee with Karan. Karan took to Instagram to announce the commencement of the shoot of the show. He shared an image of a coffee mug with the title of the show and wrote: "And so it begins..."

The show will return with its seventh season this year to spill some beans about the celebrities and their lives. Though Karan had said that his chat show won't happen again, it seems like he couldn't hold it back for long. He had earlier shared a note on social media, announcing the comeback of the show. He had written that though the show had created an impact and found a place in pop culture history, it won't be returning. But he seems to have changed his mind and has finally decided to come back on the couch.

Karan wrapped up the shoot of major portions of his upcoming directorial, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and now, he will be back on the couch with celebrities from across the country. The show too seems to have gone pan-India. It is reported that the first guests on the show will be the actors of his film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The other members on the guest list includes Pushpa stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, among others.

The first six seasons of Koffee with Karan are available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar. Season 7 is expected to premiere on the same OTT platform this August.
