Koffee With Karan 8 — Aditya Roy Kapur reacts to 'thirst trap' tag; says, 'At least people are not saying...'

Aditya Roy Kapur has opened up about being called a 'thirst trap'. The actor is glad that people aren't saying 'what an ugly guy'.

Aditya Roy Kapur is all to grace Koffee With Karan 8 with Arjun Kapoor. The new episode of KWK 8, featuring Aditya and Arjun, will be out on December 14 at midnight. Before the episode drops on Disney+ Hotstar, an interesting snippet from Karan Johar's chat show has surfaced online. It's about Aditya Roy Kapur's reaction to being called the 'thirst trap'.

On Koffee With Karan 8, Karan Johar asked Aditya if he feels objectified for his good-looking persona and his reaction to being termed as the 'thirst trap'.

To this, Aditya said, "I don't feel like I fuel that fire that much. I mean it's not like I am sitting around posting these thirst traps, I am more often posting pictures of sunsets and weird songs. I look at it as a positive, it's a good thing at least people are not saying ‘what an ugly guy'. People are saying something positive."

Talking about the recognition for his work, the actor said he has done enough work over the years and doesn't think that his persona hinders the perception of the work that he does, but only adds to it.

Aditya Roy Kapur on his relationship rumours with Ananya Panday

Aditya has reportedly been in a relationship with Ananya for a while now. On Karan's infamous chat show, the filmmaker did ask the actor if he is dating Panday, to which Aditya mentioned, "Ask me no secrets, I will tell you no lies."

Before Aditya joined Arjun on Koffee With Karan 8, Ananya Panday made an appearance on the chat show with Sara Ali Khan. The actress called Aditya his 'best friend' but neither accepted nor denied dating him.

About Koffee With Karan 8

KWK 8's first premiered on October 26 with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone being the first guests of the season. A new episode of Koffee With Karan 8 premieres every Thursday on Disney+ Hotstar at midnight. Buzz is that Aamir Khan might come on the chat show with his ex-wife Kiran Rao. However, there's no confirmation on the same.
