Kobali trailer
Hotstar is back with another series titled Kobali. The crime drama, which has been in the making for quite some time, is finally set to stream soon. The makers recently released the trailer, and it looks gripping. Along with the trailer, they announced that Kobali will begin streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on February 4, 2025.
Set against the backdrop of Rayalaseema, the series explores how families are impacted by hate crimes and caste-based politics in the region. The trailer begins with a voiceover by Ravi Prakash, who plays the lead role, setting a strong and intense tone for the series. Although most of the cast is relatively new, the gritty visuals create an immediate impact.
Directed by Revanth Levaka, Kobali is a crime-revenge thriller that stars Syamala, Rocky Singh, Venkat, Tarun Rohith, Dr. Bharath Reddy, Yog Khatri, Gaddam Naveen, Sagar Majji, and Manikanta. Anchor Syamala returns after a long gap, and the glimpses of her role in the trailer suggest a powerful and dynamic performance.
Despite being made on a low budget, the drama looks intense. For Ravi Prakash, this series is a significant milestone, as he transitions from supporting roles in films to his first lead role in Kobali. The project seems to hold a lot of promise for him.
Gowra Hari has composed the music, adding to the series' gritty and intense atmosphere. Rohit Bachu managed the cinematography, effectively capturing the raw essence of the story. Produced by Jyothi Meghavath Rathod, Raja Sekhar Reddy Kammireddy, and Tirupati Srinivasa Rao, Kobali promises to be a unique addition to the faction genre, according to the makers.
While Ravi Prakash seems to fit well in his role, it remains to be seen what new elements the makers bring to the series. The makers will soon arrange a few more events to keep the series in the news. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
