All About Knives Out 3

While Netflix has been serving some hot content for years now, only a few film franchises have managed to make a widespread impact, becoming the talk of the town with each new installment. One such franchise is Knives Out. We were first introduced to the franchise in 2019, when many of us weren't even aware of the books that the movie was based on. Chris Evans' arrogance, Daniel Craig’s charm, and Ana de Armas' confused gaze had us all impressed and left craving more of such content.

Soon came Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery in 2022, which took the much-loved franchise to higher levels. The cast was bigger, the scale was higher, and the stakes were massive. This left fans with more intrigue about where the franchise would go next. Netflix wasted no time in announcing the next installment of the movie.

It turns out the streamer doesn't want to waste time because, after taking a break for a year, they have decided to announce Knives Out 3. In an announcement teaser yesterday, Netflix confirmed the title of the third Knives Out film, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, and also announced the release window. Knives Out 3 is set to hit the streaming giant in 2025. But do you know enough about the threequel? If not, we have come to your rescue. Below is everything you should know about this exciting announcement of the week.

What Is Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery About?

The teaser that Netflix shared yesterday has Daniel Craig doing a voice-over as his character Benoit Blanc, saying that his most dangerous case is coming soon to Netflix. One thing that we have understood about this franchise is that each movie is very much a standalone film. Knives Out did not set up Glass Onion, and likewise, Wake Up Dead Man has no connection to Glass Onion. This means Knives Out 3 is a new case, and we do not know what to expect. Of course, the film will explore another murder like the first two, but it will be interesting to see what theme the makers choose this time.

Knives Out 3 Cast

Everything is kept under wraps at the moment, but the casting of the Knives Out movies is always quite unique. Of course, Daniel Craig returns, and the voice-over in the teaser confirms that. However, even without the teaser, we were well aware that he would return. There are no details yet on who will be joining the cast this time.

Knives Out and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery are streaming on Netflix. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more information on this and everything else in the world of streaming and films.
