Pushpa 2: The Rule, the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster movie Pushpa, is gearing up for a December 2024 release. Ahead of the grand theatrical release, leading man Allu Arjun and the Pushpa 2 team recently attended a grand promotional event in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, where the team revealed the much-awaited third single from the film. The lyrical video of the ‘Kissik’ song, composed by Devi Sri Prasad and featuring Allu Arjun and Sreeleela, is now out on social media platforms.

Kissik song from Pushpa 2 out

The highly anticipated third single from Pushpa 2: The Rule titled ‘Kissik’ is finally out on social media. The dance number is composed by celebrated musician Devi Sri Prasad, and sung by Sublahshini. Chandra Bose has penned the Telugu lyrics for the song number, which features leading man Allu Arjun and popular actress Sreeleela. From the lyrical video, in the Pushpa sequel, it is safe to assume that director Sukumar and his team are planning to treat the audience with a colorful dance number.

Kissik song receives mixed reactions from netizens

However, the ‘Kissik’ song has clearly failed to impress the Telugu cinema audiences and the netizens, who were expecting the team to recreate the ‘Oo Antava’ magic onscreen. Even though it is too early to judge the dance number, Devi Sri Prasad’s composition and Chandra Bose’s lyrics are evidently struggling to match the bar set by Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s dance number from the first installment. The lyrics in the Tamil and Hindi versions of the song, which are now out on social media, are also just forgettable.
