Kishmish: Papon sings third song ‘Kanna’ from Dev and Rukimini’s upcoming movie

Only a few days left for the release of Kismish and the entire team is busy with the last-minute promotions.

Team Kishmish released the third song ‘Kanna’ from their soundtrack. Kanna translates to crying and the visuals also depict a melancholiac vibe with its heartfelt rendition by Papon.

There are four songs in Kismish and debutant music director Nilayan Chatterjee has composed and penned the lyrics for all the songs.

Leading man Dev has shared the song’s teaser on his Instagram handle.

The first song from KishmishTui Bolbo Na Tumi’, is sung by Nikita Gandhi and debutant vocalist Subhadeep Pan and was released last month.

The second song, ‘Oboseshe’ is sung by Arijit Singh and has managed to make a place for itself among the fans and audience at large.

Team Kismish is leaving no stone unturned to drum up the fanfare and in order to achieve that Dev and Rukmini Maitra have already taken a metro ride and also appeared for a very popular television game along with the entire creative team.

The trailer has already created a huge buzz in the market and the netizens are going gaga about it.

Kishmish is a romantic flick that revolves around the enchanting effects of love. The trailer manages to hook you up completely with exciting 2D animations and promises to deliver a unique experience through its refreshing storyline.

Dev can be seen playing four different characters from different timelines from age 18 to 45 years. The actor had to lose almost 15 kgs to play the role of a college-goer in the movie. Rukmini plays Rohini Sen, his love interest. The trailer presents glimpses of her life as well, from a good-looking nerdy college topper to an unhappy bride.

Meanwhile, in Kishmish Rituparna Sengupta, Jisshu Sengupta, Ankush, and Srabanti Chatterjee can be seen playing cameo roles.

Kishmish is slated to release on April 29 in theatres.
