Kishmish: Dev and Rukmini groove to Nilayan Chatterjee’s song on the sets of reality show, Didi No.1

The recently released trailer of Kishmish has got all fans excited as it promises to deliver a young, fun-filled, light-hearted romantic ride. And recently, they got to see a glimpse of what’s in store for them through Dev’s Facebook live post.

The lead actors of the film, Dev and Rukmini Maitra, are leaving no stone unturned to promote their upcoming release. They along with the debutant music director Nilayan Chatterjee and other members of the cast and crew attended the hit reality show Didi no.1. Dev live streamed the event on Facebook from the sets of the reality show which captured the joyous moment.

The video shows Nilayan Chatterjee crooning out a song from Kishmish while Dev was playing around in a light-hearted mood. Kismish director Rahool Mukherjee along with Anjana Basu, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, and June Maliah are also seen in the video. Everyone seems to be having a good time. Fans were bombarding the comment section with their wishes. They expressed their excitement and eagerness for the film.

Recently, the leading pair had also taken a metro ride to celebrate the launch of a song, Oboseshe from Kishmish. Arijit Singh crooned out the song, which is written and composed by Chatterjee.

Kismish is directed by Rahool Mukherjee. Nilayan Chatterjee composed and wrote the tracks. The movie also stars Kharaj Mukherjee, Anjana Basu, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, June Maliah in pivotal roles, and Rituparna Sengupta, Jisshu Sengupta, Ankush, and Srabanti Chatterjee in cameos.

Incidentally, Dev’s last year’s release Tonic created new history at the box office and was declared an ‘All-time blockbuster’. It is the second highest-grossing film of 2021 in Bengali cinema. And the fans are eagerly waiting for yet another surprise.

Dev and Rukmini are going to share the screen after 2019. They were last seen together in Password, which was directed by Kamaleshwar Mukherjee. Incidentally, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee and June Maliah are essaying the role of Rukmini’s on-screen father and mother.

Kishmish is releasing on April 29 in theatres.
