Kishkindha Kaandam, which also ran in theatres for over two months, is expected to garner pan-Indian attention following its streaming release. The movie, which will also be screened at the upcoming International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) in Thiruvananthapuram, will also be available to stream in Hindi and other South languages.
The Malayalam movie, which has already become a surprise hit at the box office, is scripted by cinematographer Bahul Ramesh and is a riveting thriller about a father-son duo and a woman who comes into their lives after as the son’s second wife. How she sets about to unravel pieces of a mystery that includes a missing child and revolver, while grappling with her father-in-law's steady decline in mental health is what the film is about.
