After the success of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015), actor-comedian Kapil Sharma is back for another film. As per the latest reports, Nimrrit Kaur Ahluwalia makes her acting debut in Hindi cinema after months of casting calls. Director Anukalp Goswami recently started production, with Ahluwalia scheduled to join the cast in February. Over the course of two months, the squad will visit Mumbai and other overseas venues.

Kapil will manage filming alongside his new Netflix series, The Kapil Sharma Show according to a source who informed Mid Day. The actor is eager to star in a feature film after starring in Zwigato (2022) and Crew (2024). The script was so good that he chose to star in it this year.

This sequel has the actor, whose comedic specials have made him famous, returning to his role. According to those in the know, the film will keep its comedy-of-errors premise but give it a new spin. The insider noted that the shooting schedule for Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 will follow a packed, two-month schedule. To give the sequel a more epic feel, production begins in Mumbai before expanding to foreign locales. The production team is aiming to finish in 45 days.

With an eye towards a possible release later this year, the crew plans to wrap up the main shoot by April of this year.

Production team and vision

Under the Venus Worldwide Entertainment banner, Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas-Mustan are producing the film in collaboration with Abbas Mustan Film Production. Kapil Sharma's signature wit is sure to be back in this comedic adventure, and fans can't wait.

Kapil reunites with the renowned combo Abbas-Mustan, who directed the first film, for this one. Their last work together was a hilarious riot, so viewers can't wait for the magic to happen again. Manjot Singh, renowned for his superb comic timing, has joined the cast this time around. The sequel is sure to be an even bigger hit with its blend of experienced comedy and new vitality.
