Kiran Abbavaram, who had two releases this year already - Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha and Meter - is coming up with an out-and-out entertainer next, Rules Ranjann, which releases on October 6. Rathinam Krishna, who earlier helmed Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu and Oxygen is the director of the dramedy while his father and reputed producer AM Rathnam is the presenter.

The pre-release event of the film was held in Hyderabad for which Jathi Ratnalu maker Anudeep and producer Ambika Krishna were chief guests. Kiran was all praise for his co-star Neha Sshetty and said that she went out of the way to help him during shoot, ensuring an amiable atmosphere. “She put her heart and soul into Sammohanuda. You’ll like her more when you watch the film,” he stated.

Beyond doing good films, he said he views the industry as an avenue that’ll help him meet wonderful people. “I got to meet AM Rathnam garu, Hyper Aadi, Viva Harsha, Goparaju Ramana, Ajay, Subbaraju, Ragini through the film. We’ve all come from humble backgrounds to make a mark here, I got to understand their problems, how they rose above them to do good work.”

When he met the director, he expressed his interest to do a thorough entertainer whose only intention is to make audiences laugh. Rathinam Krishna gave him an ideal script minus any concepts or messages or action. “He asked me to trust him fully, supported technicians very well on sets and if this film turns out to be a hit, he deserves a major chunk of the credit.”

The actor admitted how he struggled with his steps in Sammohanuda and told the film gave him an opportunity to try out a few stylish moves. Thanking his fans who’ve supported him through his highs and lows, he assured them that he’ll be giving them films that’ll make them proud. Kiran opined the film needs to do the talking and said everyone here is in it for the love of cinema.
