After the hit family drama SR Kalyana Mandapam, director Sridhar Gade and actor Kiran Abbavaram are joining hands for a mass entertainer titled Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini. Sanjana Anand plays the female lead in the film that also stars Siddharth Menon, SV Krishna Reddy, Baba Bhaskar, Sonu Thakur and Bharath Rongali. Mani Sharma scores the music for the film that is set to release in over 550 theatres across the Telugu states on September 16. Kodi Divya Deepthi is the producer.

Ahead of the film's release, Kiran Abbavaram spoke to the media. "I've always been a big fan of Kodi Ramakrishna and grew up watching his films. Even if I didn't have the opportunity to work with him, I am thankful that I got to work with his daughter (Kodi Divya). It was an absolute pleasure to have the film's trailer launched by Pawan Kalyan, I will be indebted to him." He labels Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini a family film that discusses an important issue.

"SV Krishna Reddy's character as the heroine's father will be a major highlight of the film. The father-daughter sentiment in the film is something that everyone will resonate with. This is an ideal film in my career just when my career as a lead actor is taking off. I have a role with multiple shades - the first-ever occasion in my career. The heroine has a meaty part. I hope this film takes me one step closer to audiences," he said.

Apparently, many producers had tried to rope in him and the director together for a film after SR Kalyana Mandapam. "It was destined that the film had to be produced by Kodi Divya garu. It's only because of her that the film shaped up much beyond our expectations. As per the need of the story, I have written the film's dialogues myself. My scenes with Baba Bhaskar will be very entertaining. Mani Sharma's music and background score are the icings on the cake."

The film, reportedly, has all ingredients to appeal audiences - emotion, humour and action. His upcoming films Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, Meter have already wrapped up filming. The AM Rathnam-production Rules Ranjan has wrapped up 40% of the shoot. "I may team up with Sridhar Gade for another film soon," he signed off.
