The fourth season will premiere on February 27, 2022.
Anjana Vasan, an Indian-born Singaporean actor best known for her role in Spider-Man: Far From Home has been cast in Season 4 of the BBC America action thriller series Killing Eve, which will premiere on February 27, 2022.
According to Variety, Camille Cottin, the French actor most recently seen in Ridley Scott's House of Gucci has been promoted to series regular, and Robert Gilbert of the Royal Shakespeare Company has joined the cast, where French actor Marie-Sophie Ferdane will now be a recurring guest star.
The series follows MI6 spy Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) as she pursues Villanelle, a worldwide assassin (Jodie Comer). Cottin portrays Hélène, the highest-ranking member of The Twelve, a group that hires assassins to kill people.
Eve's life as a spy isn't turning out the way she had imagined when she first started. She's a bored but very brilliant MI5 security officer who spends much of her time at her desk. Villanelle is a gifted assassin with a changeable mood who clings to the perks of her trade. As Eve is charged with tracking down the psychopathic assassin, Eve and Villanelle engage in a vicious game of cat and mouse, each woman equally infatuated with the other.
According to Variety, Vasan will play Pam, a young assassin in training whose employment in the family funeral business provided her with comfort from her bullying brother. Vasan is most known for her role as Amina in the Channel 4 sitcom We Are Lady Parts although she has also starred in films such as Cyrano and Mogul Mowgli.
Gilbert will play Yusuf, a warm and charismatic ex-army bad boy who works to help Eve on her mission of revenge. He recently appeared as Angus in The Tragedy of Macbeth with other previous credits including Star Trek: Lower Decks and Ready Player One.
