Kiccha Sudeep’s next, which comes 2 and half years after Vikrant Rona, is set for theatrical release on December 25
Kiccha Sudeep fans have very little to be happy about the manner in which the production house is handling the promotions of Max. With only a week to go for the film’s release, there is no sign of a trailer, although there was speculation that it would be released around this time. Sudeep has been doing a fair share of promotional events, but that, reckoned fans, was not enough to drum up excitement about the film.
No love interest for Kiccha Sudeep in Max, here’s why
The team would need to be seen out and about, like at the recent ‘Lion’s Roar’ song launch at a mall in Bengaluru. Well, looks like the team is paying heed to fan requests and is having a pre-release event. A little while ago, Karthik Gowda of KRG Studios, who is distributing Max in Karnataka, tweeted that a pre-release event for the film would be held in Chitradurga on December 22.
The event is being held at the Shri Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugharajendra Stadium, Chitradurga and is expected to begin at 6.30 pm on Sunday. The announcement was met with a lot of excitement from fans, who responded with, “The lion is entering his fort”.
The film, produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu and directed by debutant Vijay Kartikeyaa, was meant to be in theatres in August, but that plan did not work out. Sudeep has been categoric that the decision to release it during the Christmas holidays has come from the producer. Max will be in theatres only 5 days after Upendra’s UI.
Max release date: Here’s why netizens are trolling the makers of Kiccha Sudeep’s film
There have been rumours that all’s not well between Sudeep and Thanu and that’s becoming increasingly evident in the actor’s promotional interviews for the film. The film, meanwhile, is a tale that transpires in one night, between 7 pm and 7 am, with Sudeep’s character Arjun Mahakshay, aka Max, handling a particular situation with brute force.
