Sanchith Sanjeev is set to act and direct himself in his bona fide debut project
We had reported very recently that Kiccha Sudeep is quite possibly gearing up to launch his nephew Sanchith Sanjeev. Though the actor remained mum about the development for the longest time, his tweet about being 'excited' about an announcement almost confirmed the chatter that was slowly disseminating on social media. Speculations were rife that after much ado, Sanchith Sanjeev was finally going to make his debut with the very trusted KP Sreekanth handling things.
KP Sreekanth, whose newly forged partnership with G. Manoharan of Lahari Films has been churning out exciting projects, announced that he is bringing a super exciting update on June 14, one that all Sudeep fans have been waiting for quite some time.
And just as promised the notes producer is here with the update that has endeared everyone. The speculations turned out to be legitimate and quite indeed, Sanchith Sanjeev is here and ready to rumble. KP Sreekanth shares that he will make his grand debut with the backing of Venus Entertainers, Lahari Films and Supriyanvi Picture Studio. The latter, if you are wondering, is Sudeep's wife Priya Sudeep's home banner, which makes its production debut with the concerned project.
"Delighted to announce our collaboration and to introduce @sanchithsanjeev who marks his debut as actor and director," said Supriyanvi Picture Studio's official Twitter handle to confirm that Sanchith Sanjeev will not only make his acting debut but also direct himself in his maiden full-fledged directorial attempt. Not many would know that Sanchith has co-directed (along with Gurudatha Ganiga) the 2018 film Ambi Ning Vayassaytho, starring the late Rebel Star Ambareesh.
As far as the upcoming film is concerned, reports inform us that the project is titled Jimmy but the synopsis of the film still remains under wraps. The team has organized a grand muhurtha event on June 15, at 9:30 am in Bengaluru, where all the other key details could be brought to light. More updates to follow soon.
